This newsreel is a special 15^th anniversary anti-celebratory version of the propaganda mouthpiece Polish National Newsreel. Munk, associated with PNN at the time, produced this self-mocking kaleidoscope of various scenes, where archive materials mingle with staged scenes. In an incredibly ironic whole, a single actor plays over a dozen characters, ranging from party apparatchik, breeder of dwarf elephants, ballet dancer, to a miner professing that work should be recreation.
