This made for television documentary tells the stories of homeless shelter residents. These subtle human portraits that escape statistics consist of interviews by Breien illustrated with their static photos. The director approaches her characters by avoiding easy judgements, constructing their worlds in a sensitive manner using modest material traces of their presence.
