Kamienna Dolina, a small village in the Carpathian Mountain Foothills. In spring and summer, pupils from a local school gather herbs which they sell to a collection point. They use the money they earn to buy a film projector. A skilful combination of a fictionalized story about the children’s passion and a commercial. Piotr Litka ![]() Janek’s Feeder

A documentary story with elements of a modern fairy tale and an educational film. Little Janek decides to rear birds which so far have lived in the woods and have been fed by his school friends. Following his teacher’s words, the boy undergoes a transformation and sets the birds free. Stylish photos by Mieczysław Jagoda and the superbly directed children are undoubtedly additional assets of this film by Has. Piotr Litka ![]() Our Ensemble
